WHAT TO DO
At Solis medical clinic, we are experts in IV infusions. We monitor you throughout and are very experienced in managing any side effects or reactions which are very infrequent. You are in a safe, comfortable environment and never alone. When you receive an IV Injection, it might feel cold getting the liquid in your vein. We discuss the common side effects before proceeding so you have informed consent.
Bring a book, music, or other activities to help pass the time and keep your mind occupied.
Let the IV technician or nurse know if you feel dizzy, nauseous, or experience any other unusual symptoms.
Be sure to tell your doctor or nurse about any concerns you have before beginning your infusion.
There are no special rules about what you should eat or drink before an infusion you may want to take some snacks or a packed meal.
Activities such as crossword puzzles, crochet, knitting or a book to read can help you pass the time. We do have WIFI in case you want to watch tv on your phone or just scroll.
