Vonda Bobart
Meet Dr. Vonda Bobart, a distinguished medical professional with a remarkable story. Originally from Nova Scotia, Dr. Bobart nurtured her passion for biology by earning a BSc from Dalhousie University.

Antoine Thompson
Antoine is a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association. He completed his Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology at the University of Alberta in 2018. He then completed his Master of Counselling at Athabasca University in 2023.

Tesfu Redie
As a former soccer player, I developed a deep understanding of movement, recovery, and the importance of maintaining a healthy body. This passion led me to become a Registered Massage Therapist, where I focus on helping clients restore balance, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being.

Judieth Wilson
Judie has been nursing since 2010, with experience in bedside, medical, correctional, and IV infusion medicine.
At this stage in her career, what she enjoys most is chatting with patients and getting to know them. She appreciates having the time to actually address their concerns one on one at Solis Medical Clinic.

Darcy Barlow
Darcy has been a paramedic for 27 years, working across all three prairie provinces in both flight and clinical paramedicine.
After a long and adventurous career, he’s now enjoying spending quality time with patients at Solis Medical Clinic before retirement.

Rachel Grymaloski
With over 13 years of experience in the medical field, Rachel brings a wealth of expertise in healthcare administration and patient-centered operations. As our Medical Clinic Manager, she has successfully led multidisciplinary teams, streamlined clinic workflows, and consistently improved patient satisfaction across a range of healthcare settings.

Chandra
Chandra has been with us since inception of our clinic. She is learning quickly how to be a valuable team player, helping out in the clinic in all sorts of roles. When she is not here , she is an avid soccer Goalie, soccer youth referee and junior coach. Chandra ranks 3rd in Alberta for hammer throw and also dabbles in sprints. She enjoys music, hiking and also does a lot of community volunteering.

Jack
Jack is a west highland terrier. He’s about to turn 11. He is quite chill. He enjoys cuddles and lots of attention. He’s happiest when he gets long walks. He enjoys hiking with his fam.

Audrey Negonde
As a naturally observant person, Audrey Negonde took her interests to go on and study psychology. Audrey has recently graduated with a BA in psychology and is ready to apply that knowledge and passion professionally in making a difference to help others.
Meet Dr. Vonda Bobart, a distinguished medical professional with a remarkable story. Originally from Nova Scotia, Dr. Bobart nurtured her passion for biology by earning a BSc from Dalhousie University. From there, she travelled across the Atlantic and earned her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland. After practicing internal medicine for two years, she made her way back west, this time to embark on a transformative path at Yale University, where she completed an Anesthesia residency and a Cardiothoracic Fellowship, achieving dual board certification in both Anaesthesiology and Echocardiography—in addition to a Diploma in Pain Medicine.
Dr. Bobart’s research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, spanning cardiac and regional anaesthesia. Additionally, she has lectured internationally at various anesthesia conferences and has held roles as an assistant professor and education director in the department of Anesthesiology and Preoperative Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Currently, she is a clinical lecturer at the University of Alberta’s Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Beyond the medical realm, Dr. Bobart’s myriad interests led her to an MBA in Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Certificate in Administrative Justice from the Foundation of Administrative Justice in Edmonton.
Dr. Bobart’s approach to pain medicine integrates diverse perspectives, emphasized by comprehensive consultations that align with the six pillars of pain management: lifestyle, the psychological, physical therapies, interventional therapies, spirituality, and medications. Additionally, Dr. Bobart has a keen interest in understanding and addressing fibromyalgia and migraines.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Bobart enjoys family time, gardening, hiking, cycling, knitting, and sewing. She is also a youth soccer coach and a dedicated volunteer for a number of causes and organizations and serves on several boards in various local organizations.

Prior to receiving his counselling education, Antoine worked as a Camp Counsellor and Outdoor Educator, supporting youth with their daily living at camp. He also helped these youth to work together, challenge themselves, and step outside their comfort zones. He then went on to provide drop-in mental health counselling support to youth and young adults for 8 months and short-term counselling support to college students for close to a year.
Antoine relies upon a collaborative approach, where he works with clients to help them define their goals and the steps needed to reach those goals. He approaches the client’s concern with care, consideration, and nonjudgment. He encourages clients to be engaged in their healing and take active steps towards building a life that is rich, meaningful, and guided by their values while also addressing the painful experiences that come with it. He also works with clients to further explore and develop their strengths, coping strategies, and support network.
