ACT Group therapy for Chronic Pain
ACT group for Chronic Pain is a structured 4-week group therapy program that relies upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). The primary goal of this program is to help those struggling with chronic pain to distance themselves from difficult thoughts, feelings, and pain so that they can take action and live life in a way that resonates with their core values. It is designed to help individuals struggling with chronic pain to learn practical skills. These skills can help individuals to change their relationship with pain in a way that reduces its impact on their daily living.
